About Us

Taste Buds Box provides hands-on cooking programs for kids through schools, homeschool groups, after-school programs, and community organizations.

Founded by a certified chef and a certified educator, our programs combine real culinary skill-building with strong educational practice. Every child actively cooks — measuring, mixing, and preparing food — building confidence, independence, and practical life skills through learning by doing.

Ways to Cook With Us

School & After-School Programs

Multi-session cooking programs are designed for schools, after-school programs, and learning centers. Kids actively cook in every session, building skills week by week.

Homeschool Cooking Programs

Hands-on cooking experiences that support learning across subjects while helping kids grow confident in the kitchen.

Community & Family Events

Cooking events that bring people together — from family cooking nights to pop-up experiences for kids.

What to Expect

  • Programs typically run 4–6 sessions, 60–90 minutes each
  • Kids actively cook in every session
  • Designed to work in classrooms and school spaces
  • In-person and virtual options available

Our Philosophy

We believe cooking is a powerful tool for learning.

Through cooking, children:

  • Build confidence and independence
  • Practice math, reading, and science skills
  • Learn to try new foods in a supportive environment
  • Experience the joy of creating something themselves

Our goal is to help children feel capable, curious, and proud — in the kitchen and beyond.

Cooking is not a demonstration in our programs.

It is a hands-on experience from start to finish that helps children build confidence, take on responsibility, and take pride in what they create.
