These sessions are jam packed with food, fun, and sophisticated cooking techniques! Classes are 120 minutes long. All jr. chef materials are provided (as well as ingredients if taking an in-person class). Group sizes range from 3-12 students per session.
We travel to you and provide all ingredients. We are currently offering in person classes in the Los Angeles and Washington DC areas. If you are more than 30miles away, we add an additional $20.
We send you the Zoom link and a shopping list 5-6 days prior to the first class.
Our 1:1 classes allow students to receive individualized attention from a certified chef! Students will receive an apron, a chef's knife, and cooking techniques that will boost their confidence in the kitchen!

This is an introductory course. In this class, students explore where food comes from, cook a healthy dish, and discover a mystery fruit!
Esplorare means explore in Italian. In this class we travel to Italy and explore the grocery store! What's the best way to shop? Check out this class to find out!
Rau means vegetables in Vietnamese. In this class we travel to Vietnam and discuss the benefits of putting more fruits and veggies on your plate!
Zeit means time in German. Fermentation? What is THAT? Travel to Germany with us and take this class to find out!
Wajabat khafifa means snack in Arabic. Many Arab speaking countries eat DELICIOUS snacks! Travel with us and learn how to make some healthy snacks.
Furaha means happiness and fun in Swahili. In this class we travel to Kenya and find out just how fun cooking can be!
HELLO Haiti! Hatian food is delicious and the culture is even better. In this class we travel to Haiti and make a famous deliciously famous dish!
Sushi is eaten in MANY countries. However, what are its true origins? In this class, we learn about the history of this popular dish while making it at the same time! Yum!
Peace be upon you friends. Let's travel to the beautiful country of Afghanistan and make a dish meant to be shared with others.
Learn to wield a knife like an expert chef! Have you ever wondered how chefs cut veggies so perfectly?! Well in this class, you'll learn how!
Students will learn the basics of blanching, boiling, chopping, poaching, steaming, and simmering.
Students will learn to sweat, saute, caramelize, pan fry, deep fry, and stir fry.
Students will learn to stew, pressure cook, puree, braise
Students will learn to roast, bake, broil, and toast.

6-9:30pm--Enjoy a night out while your kiddos hang with us! We will be having Knife Skills Fun with fruits and veggies! We'll also be making a fun fall craft. (This class teaches kids how to safely and responsibly use a knife and reinforces the importance of healthy eating. We'll also be talking about gratitude).

1. What if my child has allergies or dietary restrictions? Please be sure to provide us with advanced notice of your child's allergy or dietary restriction so that we can make adjustments and accommodate your child's needs. We are mindful and respectful of the needs of each of our students.
2. What about my Neurodivergent child? In our classes, we welcome individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, and abilities. Our classes are facilitated by a chef and a learning specialist. In every session, it is our goal to make sure that kids feel safe, supported, have fun, and can be themselves. Many parents find our classes beneficial because we build culinary skills, we build social skills, and we explore new flavors. Cooking also helps to build motor skills. If your child needs specific accommodations, please let us know. We are more than happy to work with you!
3. Where will these classes/events take place? Parent's Night Out and Saturday Holiday Classes will take place at Miss. Brittany's residence in Temple Hills, MD. Miss Brittany is a former classroom teacher/Learning Specialist and her husband is in the military. Their home has a classroom space with its own entrance that has been used for Spring Break camps, Summer Break camps, as well as homeschool group events.
4. What is the refund policy? Because of the time, effort, and preparation that goes into designing our classes, our cancellation/refund policy is as follows:
-We do not offer refunds, but with email notice 48 hours prior to the start time of your event, we can offer an account credit to allow you to reschedule.
-No account credits will be issued when fewer than 48 hours notice is provided.
-We are unable to make exceptions to this policy for scheduling conflicts, last-minute illnesses or no shows.
